Linksys E2500 Router

Bought one over the price as the shop said they would set it up, wrong!

Got broadband on my PC, but tablet and laptop refused to accept the router, Tried to contact Linksys, what a joke that was, initially through twitter, who then told me the router wasn't configured, and then jus t disappeared, tried again through twitter, same thing, 11 emails, yes 11 emails and a long moan on facebook got another reply, that it had been elevated to stage 2, and they would contact me, sent phone number, location, all ignored, in the meantime got the shop to come and fix it for some more money. then came an email to say they had tried to contact me but failed, nothing on my answerphone, so I presume they prefer to remain anonymous

router seems to work OK, nothing special, but the firm themselves are real stinkers.

Linksys is one of the best router I buy it is good in quality and its range is also good in home network  .its external coverage is best design  and sleek in design and easy to use for setting u can do the setting of setup internet as it is not so much hard and anyone can setip this router as per guided instructions given in manual book!

Its range is not much but overall is enough for home network or for private use its antenna is internal soo not much range is access in wide range .use this router is cheap and useful as lower in come group user can also have it as price is low and 1 year warranty is there .so I would probably recommend to go for Linksys router for easy and commercial use!

Hi my experience with the Cisco Linksys E2500 router has been very good and gave no issues in its 2 year tenure in my home.

I have been using the cisco router for two years now and its been performing very well. The router is beautiful and so light. Its very slim and made of some high grade plastic.

I dont know the techincal specification of the router but its a WiFi router has one port for modem and 4 ports for local connection via man.

The WiFi speed goes up to a max of 150mbps but I have just a internet speed of 2mbps at home and its more than sufficient for me.

It cost me about 1800rs making it one of the expensive routers in the market but its from cisco which majors in such equipment.

It supports 802.11a/b/n and works very fast. It supports more than 6 devices on my home. I would recommend it.

I bought a refurbished Cisco Linksys E2500 Router in December last year. It didn't work after purchasing and when contacted the customer support  within warranty period they ran all diagnostics and informed me that the router is perfectly alright and there is issue with my broadband provider. I constantly haggled with my broadband provider and after it didn't work changed my connection from Reliance to ACT broadband.

Still it didn't work and after that Cisco support says it is problem with internet port of the router and now since the router is out of the warranty of 90 days they cannot either replace or fix the router and have stopped responding to calls. First pathetic product and then pathetic customer support.

I had paid a lot to buy branded product like Cisco but the experience is horrible.
