When google buzz was released early this year a lot of people thought that it was pretty boring, brought in very late and was a kind of a me too service after the success of twitter and facebook.
However, a little tinkering with the service would reveal that it's not such a lame service at all. And there a many reasons for it.
1.Since it's integrated with the gmail you can begin the conversation right away with your contacts, as well as with the rest of the world like you would do on facebook or twitter.
2.In comparison with twitter, you don't have to worry about exceeding your character limit, and can freely communicate whatever you want to.
3.The integration with other services from google like Picasa, Flickr, and Google Reader allows you to freely import content. You can import content from twitter as well.
4.Another facility that it offers is that you can integrate google buzz with your google profile, which is pretty cool.
But there are a couple of things that are said to be missing from buzz such as being able to post from buzz to twitter, integration between buzz and facebook, which is home to over 400 million people now. However, given google's innovative nature, all of these features might be available in buzz sooner than later.
