Text have always been a non-ignoring part of Computer world.Type day a huge amount of data is typed in people use the document for reference and various other reasons.
Many options and various programs are freely distributed on the net, which can help user to type their text in a friendly environment.
Microsoft released the need for typing of small text document and included Notepad in their Windows program, which is the fastest and simplest program available to type small documents.
But there was always a need for more and more friendly environment and a need for new look, as many were tired of the same look of notepad.
Some many programs were developed to help the user and provide them with a friendly look.Many were good enough to beat the notepad, some were freeware, some were Shareware and others were Demo.
Well in my quest to find the best and a simple looking text editor, I came across this Text Editor named Crimson Editor.

It is the smallest and a neatest program I think is ever written and is a very small program.
Crimson Editor - So what is it??
Well as the name suggest's it a Text editor which can be used to edit text,HTML documents,ASP,CGI and various other program.
It is good replacement for notepad and come in a very small package.

After Notepad, I think this is the second fastest loading editor I have ever come across.The program loads up extremely fast.
Look and feel and Tools
The look is extremely good with cool icons placed in the Standard Tool bar.I contains a excellent Search facility,Spell check.
It also contains Macros Recording which is a good options according to me.
So what makes it so different and why do I praise it??
Well what make it different is load up time, neat interface and color options and program size.
I work normally in HTML and it provides me with color options for various text accordingly helping me classify various tags and options.
There are line numbers to assist.It also contains Find and Replace option.
