I can't speak to some of the reviews from MANY years ago, but that is not the situation I found when I joined WritingForums.com in May of 2020. I found, and continue to find, a community of friendly and generous writers who are willing to share advice or just "talk shop". Okay, it's the internet . you get a bad apple once in a while . but that is FAR from the norm on this site. The staff is friendly and the site has a wealth of good writing information, with a strong presence in both fiction and poetry.
