This site can be very deceiving. It looks great, there seems to be a lot of discussion on many topics.
But if you visit it often enough, you're bound to cross paths with the site administrator, British-based poet Robert Staniford. As administrator, he calls himself "Baron, " if that gives you any clue.
Stanford is a humourless and aggressive self-promoter. He owns the site, is editor of something called Mobley Press and plays a key role in a self-publishing venture called Beatrice Benn Books. One suspects that his real reason for taking over the site is to troll for prospects for his various sidelines.
He bans promotion of author's works and author's sites, unless, of course, they go through his businesses and pay him accordingly.
If he ever gets booted out, the site could perhaps live up to its potential.
