Based on my personal experience its just a pain and not very useful product from windows which is very disappointing! I have always hated this player form its starting days to date as it is as useless as internet explorer which are good for nothing.
Its not at all useful nor can use it even for playing music since its doesn't support all format of music as well. even the player is not very effective for watching movies and lack very much behind with other free software that are readily available and easy to use in the market
