I bought this hard drive from ebay.in at approximate ?9000 only .
First take a look on its features:
1> Supports USB 2.0 & 3.0 .
2> Works with windows XP, 7, vista, windows 8, windows 10, Mac OS.
3> Included WD backup, WD Security and WD drive Utilities Software.
4> Comes with 3 years warranty.
5> Built in 256 bit AES Hardware Encryption so that data remains safe.
6> Comes in six different color variants.
Second its performance:
1> Read Rate on USB 3.0 is about 95 to 110 Megabyte per second.
2> Write Rate on USB 3.0 is about 92 to 106 Megabyte per second.
3> Read Rate on USB 2.0 is about 37 Megabyte per second.
4> Write Rate on USB 2.0 is about 33 Megabyte per second.
Finally design and build:
1> Made with very good quality plastic with shiny surface on top but easily gets scratched.
2> Too thick about 21.5 mm in length.
3> Indicator light at down side .
4> No physical buttons on it .
Overall it is good hard drive for personal use and WD is one of the best brand available in market for Hard Drives.
