Coming to the specifications of the product it comes with an USB V 3.0 which also supports the previous version of USB V2.0 as most of the old PC and laptop are still compatible with only V 2.0 devices.
The USB v3.0 supports greater speeds of files transfer like a 1 Gb file transfers in just a couple of minutes.
The device also comes with an unlimited Cloud storage where whenever you are having a laptop or pc with you, you can just connect it and backup all the files to the cloud server.
The Hard disk being powerless is really useful for all the travelers as they need not carry over the power cable too.I bought the WD ELEMENTS for storage and back up of files along with my Movie collection backup. for Movies and storage is good.
The only problem is when I take backup of files, If I create new folder and back up from system it works fine but when I want to rewrite in the same folder it is stuck with Read Only folders.
Even If I change the property from Read only to writable it goes back automatically to readable in less than 2 mins and doesn't let me complete the file copy means. I create unnecessary duplicate files. it works okay on the main system where I have the software installed. but since I use it on different systems in office it is very difficult to rewrite the folder. However if I work on the file itself it works.
