I have 2 Vodafone connections.

  1. I did not know, but the flash service was on i.e. you keep on getting pop-up messages on the screen every second. By mistake, if u click "OK", it will enable some service.

    2. My caller tune, shayari pack service etc. etc. started automatically and I found money got deducted like anything decreasing my balance day-by-day.

    3. But I complained to the Company and sent an e-mail and within 48 hours, I got a call.

    4. They assured me that Caller Tune service will be stopped and one time money(only) will be refunded. Thumbs up for it. But I really worry for them who do not complaint.

    5. I request TRAI to intervene and fics  some rules.

a. By default all services are stopped including Do Not Disturb is activated.


b. The user will either give in writing or by SMS or by calling to activate some service. All these, SMS, call  or handwritten application can be preserved for 1-2 years in case of any dispute.


c. Those who do not comply are liable for financial punishment including paying some fi amount to customers as a punishment.


d. TRAI should  entertain each and every mail/complaint sent to them. They do not as I have sent so many against Tata Docomo, but they did not respond.
