If you read reviews before booking a Taxi, then DO NOT even waste time calling U Taxi.
I had multiple experiences getting cheated by U Taxi in recent past.
I booked an Innova to travel locally in Bangalore. The driver called me during morning for the direction and he promised to be available'On Time'.
As it was getting delayed, I frantically tried calling the driver and he did not pick the call. So decided to call the UTaxi office and after confirmation of my number, he started talking to someone in local language about that vehicle. As I can understand local language I could hear that the vehicle has been given to someone else and they need to arrange a new one for me.
Without realizing I have heard and understood the entire conversation, the office guy said that there is a problem in brake(of the vehicle) and it is getting repaired now. He also told me to wait for one hour and the vehicle will be sent after repair.
Immediately after disconnecting the call, I received an SMS confirming that my booking has been cancelled as per my request.
Such a BIG Liar.
