The only I have been through is the consumption of the data. It consume much. And takes time in loading. On the other you have instagram with almost same concept but it can run over less speed too.
If you login Tumblr through browser it consumes less but after few results it says to download Tumblr.

It takes time in loading. I hope they make it a bit faster and I usually don't find its update frequently in compare to other apps.
