We reached Treebo Garden Cottage and Lawn on a sunny afternoon. We had a car to park, but found no staff to guide at the entrance. When we entered the hotel premises, we found nobody at the reception. Two clueless staff members came by to guide us to our room without even confirming our booking. The room was dusty, and there was no mineral water bottle. The Wi-Fi signal was extremely weak and the connection snapped often. We were left with no option as our mobile network signal was weak. When we expressed our need to talk to the manager, the staff member asked us to wait for "aadha ghanta" as that person was out for prayer. When we refused to wait, we were told, "Ab aadmi prayer karne bhi nahi jaa sakta kya?" We were enraged, and decided to leave right away. We told the restaurant manager we needed our money back, as we did not wish to stay, he shouted back at us saying, "Yaha aap se bhi bade bade log aate hain. Zyada mat bolo. Humein nahi pata aapke paiso ka kya hoga. Treebo se pucho." These were the exact words. Treebo relies on IVR very smartly to address complaints. No customer care executives to listen to your woes. I will never recommend Treebo to people in my circle.
