Well its really a pain when u try to search for something on the Search engines like Google, Yahoo, youtube or any other and u dont find the appropriate results to u search, that moment is a big distress moment. This is because, the info u r trying to look out for will a have a lots of results. For an example, u search for Airsoft Gun, u get details for Air guns, Fan guns, Air soft cushions and so on.
So, how to deal this to some extent, how to narrow down u Search!
How to use ur search engine effectively, here r some of the ways I knew -
1) **Use of best keywords** - Dont put in short words. Give upto more details keywords. If u r search is a famous one like Camaro, then just word "Camaro" will do. But if wanna know about Top 10 best shooters in the Olympics, then u need to type the keywords in detail.
2) **Use the Refine option** - Every Search engine has some called "Redefine Search" or "Advanced Search". U can use this for getting the best close answer. U can also use them for Webpages, Photos and videos. U can redefine it with "time posted", "Size". "Location" and so on.
3) **Adding "+"(plus) in between** - This is an another effective way I found out to wat I need to get. some time u keywords wont be helpful. so for them if u add up+ in between the word, it would narrow to results to ur needs. For example, if u wanna know about "Egg separator in India", for best results u can type it as "Egg+Separator+India".
4) **Bookmarks** - This is an another effective way to view the website real quickly. I use bookmarks very often! This helps u get to website quicker even u forget the web address!
5) **Clearing up the browsing history** - This function free ups ur Search engine and makes ur search process little faster.
6) **Choosing best Engine** - Well basically, this is just like how we select a new car or bike, and most them wrt the engine. Yes, the better Search engine has lots more Advancements and makes ur seach pretty easy. As far I know Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are the best.
7) **Keep updating** - Well updating ur search engine regularly give u a lots of new options for ur search and results.
Overall, like I said before, refine ur search and enjoy the results.
