I bought the Tata photon + back in 2013 we had just shifted to a new home there were no proper wired Isp in our region.
The instrument cost us more than 2000 Rs and we were promised 10 gb a month for two months. This plan was very much expensive that our last Isp but we took this as we had no other choice. We brought it home and wanted to use it we couldn't use it as it needed activation they only activated after 2 days and the process of activation was extremely cumbersome as the place where we had paid the money had not informed Tata or Tata had not activated inspite of the activation request. After the activation we only got a nominal download speed of 70-80 kBps.
After using the instrument for 2 months we wanted to recharge the dongle but we were not provided with a number either from Tata or from the showroom. We approach the showroom via telephone they replied that they would not be able to trace that particular number and asked us to contact tata; when we contacted Tata they also said that they would not be able to locate the number of the instrument and slammed the phone at us, we tried to trace that number by the registration no, instrument no or something but the customer care lady did not care to help us, so we also moved to a different Isp. I had used the services of many companies but the apathy of the Tata customer service Representative was appaling and disgusting. They have a mediocre product with lazy staff who are striving to sink their own company.
