Absolutely worthless. Opt for this service if you want to get your hard earned furnitures return to you in damaged condition.
My fridge has dent all over, wooden tea table has damaged corners, wooden sofa set is damaged, bed is also damaged. See the attached photos for proof.
When you opt for this service, the pickers will come with a professional looking manager and picking will be hassle free. Then, they will promise you to give Rs 300 off for writing a good google review.
I called them on 25th September to return my items and they asked me to drop a mail 7-10 days in advance. Thereafter my delivery was scheduled on 1st October and to my surprise the window for delivery was 8am-8pm. Imagine giving a delivery time window of 12 hours, how on earth one is supposed to plan for 12 hour window. Even after asking them to reduce the delivery window time of 4 hours, they dropped the same mail mentioning 8am-8pm.
On Saturday 1st Oct, I called Stownest customer care to enquire about the delivery timing and driver details. No one picked up the call and IVRS responded saying office will start at 9 am. I called at 9 am again and then the torture begins.
Every time I called, someone asks me to call again after half an hour or hold the call and later no one responds. This went on for whole day. I am attaching my call logs as well. At evening 6 pm, Siddhart Sagar supposedly some manager of stownest called me to inform they will try to delivery by 7:30pm. I again waited till 7:30pm and then he mentioned it can't be done today and tomorrow is National Holiday so it will be done on Monday 3rd Oct before 12 noon. At 9pm on 1st Oct, some driver of Stownest called and asked me if he can load the items. Imagine the audacity of them of asking to load the items at 9pm.
I disagreed and asked them to come on Monday 3rd October.
Monday 3rd October again the delivery slot was 8am-8pm and the same story began of calling zillion times to customer care and getting only fake assurance from them of either connecting me to the manager or telling me to call after half an hour.
Finally after all this they came at 3pm with five guys who were in so much hurry, they started smashing my items everywhere on the door, walls. One of them cut my packed bean bag with his blade so badly the bean bag got damaged and we had to throw it. Every wooden item corners were badly damaged and fridge is dented from all sides. Also they denied reassembling my office table and left it as it is. While packing they had clearly mentioned assembling will be done while delivering.
Now the most shocking part for which I can't show any proofs since I didn't record this. The unloading guys and the driver of the vehicle were talking about 70-80k amount which Stownest had to pay to some of the customers since the manager of the Stownest warehouse sold customer's LED TV, WASHING machine and many other costly items and also they mentioned four of the Stownest managers are in jail for that.
BEWARE OF THE GOOD REVIEWS... since they promise 300-500 Rs off in return of good Google reviews while picking the items from customers. I also did the same and I paid the price later.
