I bought a sony 1 tb external hard disk 7 months ago. I thought don't as a best brand and would give me a perfect HDD.
But I felt this is not a good product. Because, the hard disk is really very heavy to handle. It may weigh upto 2 kg which makes it harder to carry in my bag.
The file transferring rate is Damn slow. It first seems like 3.0 USB. The file transferrimg speed is almost like 2.0 USB.
The hard disk is fully made up of metallic finish. So it is easily getting heated up while using for more than half an hour. Sometimes it is unable even to touch.
The main other disadvantage is the body easily gets damage when falls. The shrap edges of the hard disk are easily getting damaged when falls from a little height.
if they resolved these issues the hard disk will be good one.
