Hi,
I had purchased a 3g modem from Shopclues.com hoping that it will take care of my day to day surfing needs. However when I received the product, I soon came to realize that the product had *Manufacturer Defect*. The modem had the problem of getting disconnected as if someone had physically pulled it out from the USB socket, just like physical disconnection. I immediately initiated the return procedure which is available on shopclues under the buyer protection programme.
The defective product was received back by the seller within 3-4 days. However when I did not hear anything from them, I started sending reminders, I even made calls to their customer support who only gave me empty assurances about the refund / replacement.
Now around 15 days have passed since the seller received back the faulty product but it seems that shopclues is not interested in refunding or replacing the defective product.
I might go for a legal action against them if they fail to respond within the next few days.
I am writing it with a heavy heart. But I thought I must share this information with everyone so that prospective buyers can remain vigilant.
