I had been to this so called resort last month. Just decided to go to Chikamagulur with my family (2 adult+2 kids) accompanied by one more family (2 adults). Since we did not plan in advance, we were trying to book the place online and looked like everything else was booked apart from this place. It did occur to me as to why only this place is available when all others are booked, but anyway since I had no choice I went to this place.The place looked decent, like any other home stay. Lot of greenary around, river behind the resort, with some activities at kids play area. But they had no other activities to be done in resort neither they planned anything for us. We asked them what can be arranged and we got all vague answers, maybe the manager was not knowing what can be done. All he said was will take for a trek in the morning.
We paid about 13k for one night for 2 cottages but it was complete waste of money. There was no light for about 5-6 hours in the evening and then later around 1 am they again switched off the lights. When we asked, all we got was some lame excuses for light. Even after paying so much of money if you cant get the basics, there is no point going to that place. Decided not to go to this place ever again. If you are with kids, think twice before going there. You have all kind of insects and if you don't have lights, well how dangerous it is with kids (it is dangerous even if you don't have kids along).
