I have been a jio user since the time it was launched. Initially the speed of network was good but as traffic increased the network speed worsened. And a network is judged by its reach to people and the speed it offers. Jio has a wide market in India but the speed it offers is too average approximately 7.11 mbps. This is what they say officially but on grounds it's worse. The number of customers it has and the number of network towers do not match leading to slow speed. Reliance really needs to work on that.
Considering other aspects jio indeed has done a lot for Indian people. It was jio that made internet access to people so cheap and still date jio net packs are the most affordable ones.
Making calling free is yet another achievement of jio.
Other network providers had to lower their prices and provide various offers to lure customers. Jio made a good start in that direction all to the benefit of people.
Yes definitely there are things that reliance jio needs to work upon for its customers but the legacy it has started has been beneficial both to the people and the company.
And definitely that's the reason it is the widely used network in our country.
