HORRIBLE. DONT WATCH IT!. Review on Rangoon

Clearly Matru Ki Bijli was. Rangoon on the other hand is good in parts. Kangana is fabulous and Shahid isnt bad either. Saif Ali Khan is insignificant. The screenplay could have been tighter. The last 30 minutes were a little too much to take.un necessary too many songs that cannot be remembered at all, very slow moving picture and some scenes are meaningless, First half was dragging and music was average. Kangana Ranaut has performed well though. The storyline was predictable but the setting envisaged was large and crisis fizzled out to be portrayed as instead of bringing out the turmoil in the plot, Maybe he should stick to adaptations. First half is extremely slow and he has thrown away the climax like a tailender does with his wicket.She takes the movie a notch up with her act. I would have liked it to be more dark and gritty with more to the characters. Richard Mccabe was good as the British villian.

It seems direrector got confused between history and love story. Unable to create same magic as Vishal's previous movies. Only Kangna is highlight of the movie, Shahid with same expression through out the movie n Sailf had been wasted.The actors' chemistry is also amazing. Kangana Ranaut's role might be called a bit filmy but otherwise the grip doesn't loosen at all.Watch it if you don't have anything to do or are getting entirely bored. All actors were UpTo mark. It's the script and ambience, which the movie promises to create but fails miserably, Kangana and that English general nothing much to impress waste of time for me. I expected a great movie from Vishal Sir as I am a big fan of him. just your love for music ruined it off.twelve songs were too boring to digest and not apt with the story .Buck up boy we love u.try to make it fast .so that we can immerse our senses in your love for drama that you always pen down so beautifully in your beautifully woven grasping stories.

it is the only movie in which I have left the theatre during the interval itself, couldnt take anymore of it. it was completely a random movie with a baseless storyline. the story couldn't hold us to sit back till the end and the icing on the cake was its pathetic songs, i wanted to see it for kangana and shahid kapoor. the cinematography is amazing. beautiful locations. The storyline seemed incoherent and predictable. It was not a war story neither a love story. The worst part was how the movie ended. However, the locations were aesthetically pleasing and the actors played their part with brilliance. the story revolves around a sword which needs to be handed over to other side in Rangoon which seems to be important. maybe I slept off during the movie but I couldn't understand the significance of it. 3. the first half is too slow in trying to build up the triangle but falls short miserably. as mentioned one is just not able to understand why the two fall in love with each other in the first place.direction wise the pace is too slow and there are many times where you could catch some shut eye.
