I had to open a student bank account for payment of college fees and other transactions and punjab national bank seemed to be a good option to me. So I went to the branch near to my college.
But it was my worst experience with any bank. I asked one of the persons in the staff about how I could open a student account and they gave me a form. I filled up the form, but I was having confusion with some of the blank feilds. So I asked one of the staff member and he was busy in his personal and funny phone call. I went to other one and he replied very rudely.
I finally completed with the form. After 2 days I got my passbook, but the atm card I got was not readable by any atm machine. I complained abou it and they said it cannot be changed so early.
So finally I went to Union bank of India and opened an account there. The service of union bank is far better than PNB's.
