Haldia being a dock complex and industrial town is full of hotels.
I have been to Haldia a lot of times and generally I come back same day but at times I have to stay in Haldia and
I prefer Prayag Balaji, earlier known as Balaji Hotel.
Few important aspect of Prayag Balaji: -
a) proximity to dock complex.
b) neat and clean room.
c) food is best among all the hotel in haldia.
d) price is within budget.
e) Service is good.
If one would ask me where to stay in Haldia than my obvious suggestion would be Prayag Balaji. I have been staying in Balaji for last 10 years and few years back when Prayag bought the hotel they have given this hotel a new look and definately service has improved so as cleanliness.
Even if I go for same day return I prefer my lunch in Balaji only. There yellow Dal is very good along with butter roti.
