My name is Akash, and I still remember reading in my school books that Pipili is famous for its “Chandua” ( appliqué work) . About a month ago, during my trip to Sakhigopal, I finally got the chance to visit Pipili. And trust me, brother… the moment I reached there, it felt like stepping into a colourful dream. The streets were lined with vibrant Chandua designs swaying in the breeze, each telling its own story.
I couldn’t resist — I bought some gorgeous Chandua pieces along with a few unique home décor items. Every time I look at them, I feel connected to the heart of Odisha’s culture. Truly, places like Pipili remind me why I’m so proud of my Odisha. ??
