I had an experience with Express Packers and Movers from Delhi to Pune - It was horrible to say the least! So this time, when I had to shift from Pune to Ahmedabad, I was pretty scared that the same experience would be repeated. After a lot of researching on the net and reading the Mouthshut reviews, I decided to try out PR Relocations.
To my absolute surprise, it was a great experience! I had called up the number given on the PMR site. The sales person Mr Nazim came over to my house and did a detailed survey of the household goods. I was given the quote the same evening. The behaviour was very good and professional. I had some doubts on the exclusions in the Quote. Every line item was properly explained by the person managing the assignment. Although the price was slightly on the higher side, it was worth it.
The packers were very well behaved and packed each item properly - for example crockery was wrapped in bubble-wrap and packing paper before putting them in the corrugated box. Furniture was properly disassembled and marked before packing.
At the destination too, the personnel headed by Mr Noel were very well behaved( and that is a rarity among most Movers and Packers). Each item was properly unpacked and placed as per our requirement. A chair was damaged - they got a carpenter to get it repaired then and there. A handle of a cupboard was damaged. They took a sample. got a similar one from the market and replaced it the next week. We faced no issues at all at any stage of the overall process of packing and unpacking.
