I have now faced two terrible journeys with NueGo, and both prove that this company cannot be trusted.
The most recent was from Pondicherry to Chennai. Within just 30 minutes of departure, the AC broke down and the bus stalled on the road. We were stranded for nearly an hour with no help. The driver admitted he had no support from the company and even said he had no idea if the bus would ever reach the destination. He told us passengers we were on our own and should find alternative options if we had any urgency. Manyincluding elderly people and non-local travelerswere forced to switch to government buses just to complete the journey.
When I later asked for a refund, NueGo shockingly claimed that the bus had completed the journey (when even the driver didnt know if it would run again!) and flat-out refused. Their customer support was not only unhelpful but extremely rude, demanding proof instead of acknowledging their failure.
This isnt my first bad experience either. On a previous trip from Mysore to Bangalore, the bus was late by almost two hours, and then the AC broke down during the journey. To make matters worse, we were left waiting on the roadside in the middle of the night for hourswith women and young girls among the passengerscompletely unsafe and unacceptable. Again, there was no proper communication or assistance from NueGo.
Summary of my experience with NueGo:
AC broke down on both trips I took with them.
Stranded on the road with zero support from the company.
Drivers themselves had no clarity or backup from management.
On the Mysore trip, passengers (including women) were left waiting on a highway at nightseriously unsafe.
Customer service is rude, dismissive, and refuses refunds.
They show absolutely no concern for passenger safety, comfort, or trust.
This is not bad luckits a pattern of negligence. NueGo pretends to be a premium service, but in reality, it is unreliable, unprofessional, and irresponsible. If you value your time, money, and safety, do not book with them.
