My experience with Net Zero has been a
disaster. For days I was unable to connect to their servers. First, I was not
surprised since I got disconnected frequently. However, more than five days of
not being able to connect was a bit too much and since the Help Files did not
offer an answer to the error message I received, I contacted their Support via
email- did not want to call as phone support is expensive at NetZero. The answer
I received addressed a totally different issue. I work in the IT field, so I am
usually able to figure out what the problem is, but not in this case. I decided
to change ISPs and was able to connect to the net just fine with the new ISP. I
called Net Zero to cancel, dealt with a rude rep who told me they do not issue
refunds. You get nothing from Net Zero - guess that is why they really chose
that name - Zero for lack of effective support - zero for lack of customer
service - and zero for lack of stable connection.
The Bottom Line
Be aware! Pay a little more, since you get nothing from Net Zero. BIG ZERO
