I recieved a free sample of Nair. Thank God it was free! As a busy mom, I have little time for personal luxuries like shaving my legs. With shorts weather coming up, I decided to break out the Nair. I was lucky, it only burned a little and just left several breaks in my skin that are still healing 3 weeks later. It did not eat away my hair but it did eat away my tan.
I'm just glad I didn't use it anywhere but my legs. I've heard horror stories of people who tried to use it to remove facial hair. I also remember a kid in high school who used it on his head. He had a nasty rash for weeks.
