Ever since Meru Cabs started their operation in Bangalore we are availing their services for Airport trips. Till today we found them most reliable and prompt. On many occasions we booked Meru Cabs in midnight and early morning.
As they promised, at the time of bookings, always we received the SMS details of driver, i.e. his name and mobile contact, and drivers too contacted us to find out the exact location to report. Most of them are very efficient and well conversant with the localities in major part of Bangalore City. They are very cordial and never hesitate to lift our baggages, unlike certain other cab services wherein we experienced the drivers not even bother to get up from their seats, to keep it in the vehicle and as soon as on arrival at destination support us to bring it out from the cabs.
We found that Meru Cab's data base is properly maintained and whenever we inform about any change they pomptly update the same. Recently, on one occasion we booked the vehicle at 9 pm for Airport drop. As usual the vehicle reported us at 8.45 pm. We informed the driver we will be ready by 9. All of a sudden weather changed, and rain started pouring heavily followed by gusty wind.
The power went off, darkness covered every where. In no time the roads were flooded. The last minutes packing and other related activities disturbed. Time clicked away and it touched 9.15pm. We requested driver to wait, he informed us no problem, he is ready, but he has to get permission from Cab Service provider, because they have the policy that the cabs should avoid for a longer period of waiting for a customer. We called up Meru Cab, informed about the delay, they promised to send us another vehicle. Around 9.30pm the rain also stopped and another vehicle reported us promptly. It was drizzling, the driver helped us to shift the baggages in the cab and drove the vehicle carefully and we safely reached Airport, thanks to Meru Cabs and all its supporting staff.
