I can not tell a lie, I have eaten at McDonalds several times in the 27 years of my life. As a matter of fact, my husband and I drove through the drive through today and ordered our lunch. The food is greasy but we love their fries and it's quick and cheap.
* Service ** The service at most Connecticut McDonald's is great. You get your food within a reasonable amount of time, whether you are driving through the drive through or going inside to order your food and standing in line.
* Reservations ** For any of you who have never heard of McDonald's before (not sure who that might be), you do not need reservations for McDonalds. McDonalds is not a fancy restaurant. It is a fast food place where families can go and enjoy and quick, cheap meal. It may not be the most nutritious, but it is geared towards families, especially those who younger children.
* Atmosphere ** The McDonalds in Connecticut are mostly smoke free. I do not know of any that allow smoking any more. Most restaurants, at least in Connecticut that are fast food have decided to become smoke free. There is also no alcohol sold at McDonalds in Connecticut.
* Food ** I enjoy an occasional hamburger and frie from McDonalds. I find their fries to be much better than Burger King (McDonald's competition). For younger kids, you can order a happy meal that usually consists of 4 chicken nuggets with a fries, or 1 hamburger with a frie or a cheeseburger happy meal. Each happy meal comes with a small drink and toy. Sometimes I order a happy meal when they are having a beanie baby happy meal week. I really enjoy breakfast at McDonalds. My favorite breakfast is a bagel sandwich with ham, egg and cheese, a hash brown and an orange juice. If you don't want orange juice, you can substitute it for coffee. After eating at McDonalds, however, I am generally racing to the toilet to dispose of the grease that I have just put into my body. You can also, get ice cream and apple pies at McDonalds.
* Price ** Two people can eat at McDonalds for about ten dollars. This is very reasonable compared to most sit down restaurants that you will go to.
Overall, if you are looking for something quick and reasonably price, McDonald's might be for you. It is not the most healthiest place to eat, but if you wanted healthy you could always order a salad at McDonalds.
