Please check the country your are going has availability of cheap card. This is a total ripoff. They charged me something like Rs 1700/- for 20-30 MB data which my mobile used just before I could switch off the data in it.
I whole of south east asia, you will get cards for something like Rs. 300-500/-with calls and good amount of data.
This service is running just by robbing customers with super high charges nothing else.
Most of the airports have free-wifi from where you can call home from whatsapp etc. and then buy new card in that country which is much much cheaper.
