*I was very excited to watch the movie as I had watched the previous 2 installments at the same multiplex since my school days. The movie is shot & scripted on the lines of some of the best Hollywood movies. Apparently, Red Chillies VFX have created much better Special effects than Ra.One & the credit goes to Rakesh Roshan for his imagination.
Hrithik excels in the movie as Rohit, Krishna & Krrish. Priyanka does her part well but ends up as an eye candy due to the importance given to her role. Kangana has a better role & eventually comes out as a winner. The 1st half is packed with action sequences & the drama unfolds at a brisk space. Whenever Vivek is offered a negative he comes out on top & I guess he should consider doing roles with grey shades a lot more. Krrish 3 appeals to the under 18 audience but the action sequences will leave a great impression among audiences across different age groups.
The character of Rohit is adorable & I'm not sure how they will be able to take this story further if they are planning on the next movie in the series. The 2nd half disappoints but its an entertaining movie although it would have made much more money if it would have been released in 3D as well. I respect the director's intelligence but if he wanted to make his movie into a sellout by placing different brand endorsements at least he could have been a little subtle about it.
At times the camera was focusing more on the brands rather than the characters portrayed in the scenes. I really wish that the next movie in the series is scripted keeping in mind mature audiences as well. I think the movie disappoints overall because after a long wait, people were expecting much more from the Krrish Team.
It's ok to lift scenes from different Hollywood Superhero movies but to replicate without making any creative changes is actually portraying that the makers of the movie feel that they can fool the audiences so easily. I am glad that I redeemed some reward points & didn't actually pay for the movie from my pockets. *
