The bank decides to trouble their customers by repeatedly calling for credit card. They must have called me from different numbers over 100 times. They arrange only women to make calls repeatedly so that customer can get irritated. Everyday I got 2-3 calls and sometimes more. Each time the reason was for credit card. One day I got frustrated and decided to ask for employee code. But they refused. They said "we don't have the permission to give you the employee code". I got frustrated and asked "who the f..k are you guys". I don't know what she understood but she got offended and ended the conversation by spewing all vulgar words in telugu language. After this vulgar msgs started from their end.
I decided to go and talk to the bank manager. He made a few calls and told me that it was third party and not their kotak employees. He gave a warning to someone on phone to take up some strict action against the person who msgd me.
I feel the bank itself is responsible for giving my number to some third party without my permission and their only excuse is that it's not us but some third party. I had a really bad experience with this bank. I have decided to close all my family members accounts and all trinity (demat) accounts with them.
Don't trust these banks with your primary mobile number. There is no proper system to Make a complain against such calls. I hope you all learn from my experience and choose wisely before trusting this Kotak bank.
