Hindi Cinema has seen stories on affairs, but never a story this long!! What is the problem with Karan Johar? He spoilt a completely wonderful movie with the last hour melodrama of Dev and Maya. That was the longest hour of my life.
Script is good. Cinematography is marvellous. Locales are awesome. But hey! We are here to enjoy ourselves. The movie has a few good moments. Like the scene where there is a confusion about Preity's and Abhishek's relationship. Or the time where Rani and Shah Rukh are on the Bed in a showroom. But apart from such scenes, the entire movie is a let down.
Amitabh and Abhishek are the saving grace of the movie. Their on screen chemistry is amazing. But what about the rest. Preity seems to be lost in the corporate lady profile. Rani always sobs. And for God's sake, what has happenned to Shah Rukh. A fine actor totally wasted. Music is okay-not what we expected from Shankar,Ehsaan and Loy. And I hope Karan Johar will not disappoint us next time.
