Hi friends, Today I am going to share my personal experience on the android application'IRCTC Connect'. This app is basically used for booking the train tickets online. It app allows users to login to IRCTC accounts and search, book, view and cancel the Indian railway train tickets at your fingertips. We can also booked the Tatkal tickets with this app. But my personal opinion is that please do not use this app. As this has a lots of bugs and issues that they need to work on that.
The concept for making this app is really good but execution fails. Layout and design is quite average. User interface is not good and app is bit difficult to access for the new users. The app is about 15 MB storage in your android device. It takes lots of data connection to browse the webpages. It is not store your password even after specifying.
The web sync activity is not available on the smartphone app means we can't check the train booking history as well as any type of transactions. Also the app is not available from 8 AM to 12 PM. Sometimes you will get automatically logout from the app unnecessarily, they have not maintain the application properly. This application has riddle with unwanted ads which is so disgusting thing about this. Like this, there are many things that IRCTC has overlooked or are missing.
But still we don't have any other option rather than this app to booked Indian railway tickets. So unfortunately we have to use this one only.
These all are the main problems of this app to all the users, hopefully these should be taken care in the future. I hope my review will useful for think on this application.
