Indian Institue of Engineering Science and Technology(IIEST)-Shibpur, Howrah is one of the oldest pioneer Engineering College in India( Since Year 1856, Second oldest college in India).
IIEST offers basically, Bachelor of engineering degree in following stream.
Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Mining, Metallurgy Electronics, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Information technology, Architecture & Masters degree in Engineering and Science. It also offer Master degree of Geo-science & MBA.

Earliest the college name is Bengal Engineering and Science University control by Bengal Government, In 2013 Central government has taken over and now name is IIEST, funded by Central Government.
