We had bought a dish washer more than 10 years back in Cuddalore. It was running fine and had service support as and when required by IFB.
At one point of time, the machine did not work and IFB service people could not rectify it.
When I moved to Chennai, I brought it to Chennai and IFB service people in Chennai also could not help it. I reached out at their koyembedu showroom also. They also could not get it right. I tried their area office in Chennai, website, Kolkata office to set the machine back in order. All efforts went in vain. There was no effort to help out and problem remained.
Today I got a call from 044 32429235 and they asked me whether they would like to buy a new dishwasher.
When I raised the service problem I had faced, the sales person promptly said that service problem will have to be addressed by service people and he can't help. He had got my number from service and had called me.
Looks like IFB thinks it can sell back to old customers, without solving or bothering about customer issues.
