Let me start with basic service ATM. No bank will charge you if you use ATM cards of other banks on their ATM. Not so with ICICI. They do not fail to charge you Rs 20 for the smallest amount u withdraw, be it Rs 100, if card is of other bank.
Now same for petty services. Unlike HDFC, they charge good amounts for dd, managers cheque etc.
Courteous behavior is an UNKNOWN commodity at a ICICI bank. They threatened me recently that they will destroy my new cheque book which had been received contrary to my instructions at the branch. When I told them that it will amount to inadequate service, they were unmoved. With great pursuance skills of 18 minutes on phone, they agreed to deliver to my home address.
