Have test driven the new City myself on it's launch. This is probably the best product Honda has ever made. Road maneuver, driving comfort, ultra-low noise and eleggrr163e are it's key features.
The cabin is roomy with enough headroom for an average height person. Knee space is quite good too. Plastic and fibre quality are pleasing.
There are downsides too. The elegant mid-sized sedan as it's touted lacks in a couple of features. The gear shift lever should've been leather wrapped. the measly stick looks undressed.
The rear window size is probably reduced hampering the driver's visibility of the following traffic to a great extent.
The mileage @ 14 KmPL is what disappoints us the most. I sincerely think that Honda can just crush the competition if it seriously works on its mileage. This is probably the only area in which Honda lacks as of today.
My overall impression is that, the new City is probably the best in class and best value for money in its segment. Definitely worth buying.
