I thought this is a quality product because it is from japanese.But my opinion is wrong.Their customer service is pathetic in chennai. The service station number is never picked up(044-32019272/73) and you can try.If you call to their main customer service, customer care executives say sorry and they will try to resolve it but it never happens.I called for simple service and they turned up after a month and that too did a poor job.I could have done that cleaning by myself instead of paying Rs330/- and that too the attendant did not give bill.I also raised a complaint for replacing the front panel as it was broken.That is not attended so far.
One more thing is that you get SMSes from their helpline that complaint is closed even without attending it.I got like that for the replacement of that part complaint.Just a comparison, I have voltas AC whose service is good.
I will never buy any Hitachi product in my life.
