Value for Money:

Well to begin with, I have just started using this unit, I was using a Carrier Estrella 1.5 Tonne Window AC and was fully satisfied with the product except of the fact that it was bit noisy and the vibrations it made during compressor on/off were way too much for my window which used to make a lot of noise.

Well, so I thought why not buy a split AC and shift this one to another room. My consideration set was only Hitachi and Carrier, though I believe Whirlpool, Voltas are good as well. I asked some technicians (Neutral) guys in my office who came to repair office AC's, in detail about these two brands and all of them said Hitachi is better than Carrier, though I still feel there should not be much of a difference between the two

Finally, decided and got a Hitachi 1.5 T, Ace Cut for 36500 bucks from Reliance Digital (2800 Bucks for Stabilizer and 700 for external stand not included). Here are my initial observations after using it for a week:

  1. Good cooling better than Carrier Estrella 1.5 T window

  2. Looks wise, external unit is superb and muscular, indoor one is average though

  3. No LCD hence no temperature indicator in inside

  4. Buy it, its worth those extra bucks

Thanks
