WE had travelled from Bangalore to Guruvayoor by bus booked thro Goibibo(CITI Travels) on 18 May 25. The Bus broke down with major repair in a deserted dark area past Mysore.
To the hapless passengers, all kerala bound private buses was stopped and passengers were offered to cabin seat or last seat or a bedheet to sleep on floor of the bus and that too to nearby areas as kozhikode, calicut etc.
We being Sr citizens did not take the offer as we are not used to Cabin seat, last seat or bus floor squatting. We were promised refund. And we went by alternate bus back to Mysore and suffered serious delay in our next day engagement.
When I complained to the GOIBIBO thro their web site, they gave a curt reply that bus reached in time. They dont share contact no or reply to emails. This is nothing but CHEATING.
Against statutory provisions there is no grievance redressal officer.
Hence, every one pl note of deceptive practices of this travel agent
