Goa is a nice place to get away for 7-10 days. Being a portugese colony for long time, Goa has preserved it churches and spice plantations. Goa is famous for its beaches like, Baga, Palolem, Agonda, Candolim, Margao, Miramar.
There is also a Lata Mangeshkar temple for visiting. Goa is also known for its dry fruits. We took a hotel in Panjim where majority of the tourist stay because lot of hotels and resort are available here according to your budget. Best time to visit Goa is between Dec to Feb to enjoy christmas, carnival, and new year. Must visit Goa for its beaches, churches and non veg food. Enjoy
