I am saying this from my own experience. I am a student and I wished to start a zero balance account. I came across selfie account from federal bank. I downloaded the app, took my selfie and attatched photo of my adhar. They asked for my nearby federal bank branch and send me a msg with account opening number. I just had to visit the above said branch. My account was already open. I had to submit some more id proofs and thats it. It took just 1 week for me to get the atm card and cheque book. I got a gold debit card and I am so happy with their customer care services.
I have recommended this feature to many of my friends and they all are satisfied.
