Duck for President is a children picture story bk written by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin.
A duck becomes frustrated with farmer's rule and so he is waiting fr the election to take over the farm in his control. Ducks learns that this is the hard way in this story. He continues up the political ladder until he realize that the first job was not so bad after all.
Duck wins the landslide, he then run for governor, then over again and again.As a result he decided to run for president. He wins and sets to work at his new job. Again after he loses interest finds himself back on farmer's farm. The started to write his autobiography.
The pictures are lively and colorful. It is a perfect book for keeping youngsters interested and can give a best basic knowledge of political system of America.
It is a story of a duck who is unhappy with chores that he has to do daily. This bk is very hilarious especially when the duck runs for president.
The book is a great realistic which makes us to laugh and think in many stages. A cute little book with lots of fun which will love by the children
