I have tried all pre paid mobile services[airtel,bpl,orange] in mumbai and have recently switched to MTNL trumph mobile card.
How to Buy
SIM card comes for Rs 225. Initially I had to struggle a lot to get the SIM card as its not easily available any where in mumbai. Private shop owners are selling it in black for Rs.400.
You have to visit their office and get it after dealing with those idiots who do not even know A B C D of customer suport.

200 TO 500 KMS. Rs. 3.40

Advantage
More to that processing charge per refill is only Rs. 60 as compared to 150 changed by private cellular service providers.
SMS is Rs. 0.80 if you could send any as their server is overloaded all the time.
Customer support 98691 98691 is far better than private cellular companies at least they immediately answer the phone you do n't have to wait 30 - 40 min for one query.
Signal Strength
BAD - while you are travelling by train or bus except few places in Central mumbai.
Overall its as good as Orange, Airtel or BPL.
