*Hyderabad** is often synonymous with *Mehman-Nawazi* (Hospitality), and it can also remind one of the historical **Charminar** and yeah, the **Hyderabadi Biryani**. Food plays a crucial role in defining our culture and traditions, **Deccan Orchid** is one such restaurant which according to me symbolizes the flavour of Hyderabad.
When it comes to Food I expect two things, first comes the Quality of Food and next the Price. Outstanding Food (in terms of taste and hygiene) and Reasonable Pricing is something I always look for. I happen to discover this restaurant through an online deal and since then, I have been visiting it often.
Located in the heart of the city, it goes by the tag line - **Experience the Global Cuisine**. So, it isn't just the Hyderabadi food that one might relish their taste buds with, there is a lot more in store for foodies.
*The Ambience :** Comfortable seating arrangement, dim light that goes well with its decor and the soft music that gives a sense of solace to its guest.
*The Staff :** Friendly and well trained Staff. They help one get a vivid idea of the dishes & ingredients and often make some good suggestions. So next time you visit them, don't hesitate in having a word with them. They are happy to help :-)
*The Service :** They are truly Hyderabadi as they take a little extra time but then, that assures me of the fact that I will be served Fresh Food..! I wish they work a little in this area and this is one reason I haven't given them full rating.
*The Food :** I have been visiting this restaurant for almost two years now, starting from ***Soups and Salad, Exclusive Chicken & Arabian Dishes*** they also specialize in ***Sea Food and Chinese***.
There are a few dishes which aren't to be missed. Starting with..
*The Platter :** This include a lot of astounding variety : ***The Veg Platter, Chicken Platter, Mutton Platter, Sea Food Platter and Arabic Mixed Platter.*** The quantity is well sufficient for 4-6 people.
*Chinese :** No other Chinese restaurant in Hyderabad can beat them in taste especially when it comes to ***Chicken Soft Noodles***. Reasonably priced at 110, a plate is sufficient for two.
*Chicken Dishes:*
**Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani*** served here stands apart. A different taste, a taste that is unique yet Hyderabadi.
**Chicken Afgani:*** Impressive taste, a must try with butter naan..
*Something Sweet:*
**Double ka Meetha*** and ***Qubani*** is certainly a must try.
*Parking Facility :** They have parking area both outside and in the cellar.
*Take-Away / Home Delivery:** They offer a variety of ***Combos***, where they merge a few selected dishes in both ***Veg & Non-Veg*** categories at a reasonable price.
**Biryani Combo Pack : Large**
Combo consisting of a plate Chicken & Mutton Biryani, Soya Chicken, 3 Boiled Eggs, Garlic Roti, 2 Mango Souffle, Qubani sweet and Coke (1 Ltr) is more than suffient for 6-8 people, all for Rs.500.
There is a similar ***Biryani Combo (Small)*** which is easily sufficient for 3 - 4 for Rs.250.
They also offer free home delivery within a certain range.. So if you stay nearby u can make the most of it by ordering the ***Economical Family Packs***.
In my opinion, **Deccan Orchid** is the best place to hangout with friends/family, it offers everything for everyone. If you are in Hyderabad and near Masab Tank this placed shouldn't be missed.
