Advantages
The star of the show is Rajinikanth. Every scene is brightened by his energy, style, witty one-liners, and on-screen persona.
Charming! Anirudh Ravichander's music and background score are amazing, particularly during Rajini's pivotal moments. The BGM gives fight scenes more energy, and songs like Monica went viral. stylish action and eye-catching design. The action sequences are visually arresting, particularly in the mansion and hostel, and the de-aging flashbacks were executed flawlessly. Excellent supporting roles. Even though the role isn't particularly complicated, Nagarjuna looks incredibly stylish as the antagonist, while Soubin Shahir and Shruti Haasan make an impression.
Limitations
Poor screenplay and disorganised narrative. Particularly in the second part, the story is overflowing with ideas and underdeveloped subplots. It seems haphazard. Cameos are ineffective. The appearances of Aamir Khan and Upendra seem more like publicity than real content. They don't actually make a difference or contribute anything of value. uneven quality of production. Some scenes have a fantastic appearance, but others seem shoddy or low-budget, as if the editing is not consistent throughout. It feels like a chance lost. The emotional centre and narrative don't work as well as they should for a movie with such a large cast, a lot of hype, and such a style.
IN CONCLUSION
For Rajinikanth fans who wish to witness his swag, dialogue, and style in their purest form, Coolie is a chic, exuberant mass performer. The visuals and music are unquestionably the highlights. However, Coolie might disappoint viewers who were hoping for a compelling, impactful story (like Vikram or Kaithi). The second half drags and the narrative falls short.
