Android is an operating system used in mobiles and different gadgets.It was developed by Android Inc and owned by Google after some years
.It is open source mobile device platform so mobile device manufacturers can freely use it on their devices.They can also change to the source code to customize the platform according to their requirement.
Android is linux based operating system. I personally use this software since 2 years.It provide vast variety of apps on playstore which is easily download.Mostly apps are free while some are paid.
Due to open source, you can customize your device according to your needs. I like its all features.Weak point is its security.If someone access any type of permission in your device then you are not secure. People having interest and knowledge of programming language like java should work with this software and vice versa.
