An Absolute Laugh Riot!. Review on 102 Not Out

Yesterday afternoon I went and watched 102 Not Out in a nearby theater. And I must say at the end of the movie I felt a lot better and happier. This 101 minutes movie is filled with quality humor and fun.

Amitabh Bachchan as 102-year-old Dattatrey Vakharia and Rishi Kapoor as 75-year-old Babulal Vakharia lives in a Mumbai mansion named Shanti Niwas. Now, no matter what your age is, you will find the relationship and the differences of this father-son duo quite amazing. For instance, Babulal leads a strict disciplined life. However, on the other hand, his father just loves to kick footballs, loves to take surprise rickshaw rides and quite often completes his sentences by saying "yo!"

I felt performance wise Rishi Kapoor has done better than Amitabh Bachchan in this movie. However, having said that, the presence of Amitabh is always a great thing for any movie even on his average day.

I would say there's nothing special in the music, but overall the movie is quite sweet and enjoyable. And it's always quite refreshing to see Kapoor and Bachchan sharing the same movie frame! Therefore, I am recommending this movie to everyone(irrespective of their age and gender).
