This college is good in the sense, it has good courses, reputation, teachers and placements. The faculty is student friendly and approachable.They are very experienced teachers but there are many contractual faculty members as well. The campus is clean and it is a good environment for learning. The industry exposure and placement statistics are excellent

VJTI has good teaching faculty, their methods and education.

VJTI is Engineering College hence Learning becomes difficult, Even though Good faculty but stress is more on student, Student don't have time for other work expect College work.

Overview or structure of VJTI is also not good from canteen to clasrooms, but now a days improvement has seen. Some clasrooms in Civil, Mechanical are now well made and air conditioned. Even small improvements are done.

VJTI is famous for its Degree programs but it is losing its shine now a days.

Yes, when you score above 90% or above 95% then only you will get admission in such a big brand college where you can get every facility.nice class, nice campus, cafe, gardens, lab etc etc with a high profile professors. When I was reached in this college to take admission after passing diploma, I didnt get admission as I was not scored required percentage but the management was ready to give me admission when I pay high donation to the college.so those student who will scored nice percentage they will get admission in big brand vjti college and those who dont score nice percentage and want to take admission in vjti then first arrange good amount of money.

I have studied from the college.

Heritage infrastructure, great campus, great placements and best learning scope.

Vacations are kept quite long so that students can take all the extra curricular courses and learn things that they are actually interested in.

No compulsion in attendance.

Hi friends. veermata jijabai technological institute is one of the most popular engineering college in Maharashtra. It ranked between 1-2(if IIT BOMBAY not considered) every year. Unlike other colleges in Mumbai it had its own hostel facility and that cost minimum price ranging 10k-20k per year. And had its own mess facility for hostel students within the campus only. No need to cross even the wall of campus. What more we want in a city Mumbai? The campus is highly dynamic. Adapting the every current trend that IIT'ans assimilate this college provide wide range of technical courses. Particularly famous for its IT, COMPUTER SCIENCE, MECHANICAL, TEXTILE, AMD PRODUCTION stream. College structure is 150 years old and still incredibly stands high with significant pride. This college basically contains all the courses related to the Engineering.

The fees of the This college is much less than that of any other private engineering college.

The staff and teachers are well mannered and experienced. Most of the teachers have 10-15years of experience and most are the writer of the reference books of various publications.

“Faculty of the Civil branch is excellent”, says a final year student. Departments like Information Technology and Mechanical have excellent teachers. There is a lot of room for research work in these departments. Above average teaching in other branches, but you cannot expect more from professors of a government engineering institute.

There are all fields like computer, mechanical and civil is available.My friend is studying in VJTI college he told that it is so big and beautiful college.

Students from all over india come in this college.All proffesors and staffs are very good and experienced.The canteen is also very good and beautiful.

The fees of this college is also very low as compared to other colleges in mumbai.The facilities they provide to students is very nice.

The placement is also very nice and many companies come here to take interview of students.To get admission is difficult because students are more and seats are limited.

I have passed out from this college/institute. It is a dream engg reputed college for any one. It attracts top most talent of Mumbai/Maharashtra.

It has excellent & knowledgeable faculty.

The electronics & computer department is the best followed by Mechanical & civil.

After autonomy it has improved a lot although it still follows some old government type processes.

The labs & facilities of some sections are very good. Technovanza event & other programs are excellent.

The toppers of these college mostly crack CAT, GATE & reach IIMs or go abroad for MS.

The cream companies like Google, Microsoft, TATA, Siemens, L&T, etc come for recruitment.

One needs high grades to secure admission in this college &  generally competition is very intense. The campus is very very big. its heritage & vintage too.
